the morning, leaving Ho Chi Minh
City for the Mekong Delta town of
Cai Be where you will board the Cai
Be Princess boat for a
tour of the
Delta at around 10:00am. Upon
embarkation on Cai Be Princess boat,
clients are welcomed with fresh
cotton towels.The tour will start
with the visit of Cai be colorful
floating market, cruising among
local sampans coming from all
provinces of the delta full of
fruits and vegetables. Your sampan
will proceed to Dong Hoa Hiep island
located between Vinh Long Cai Be.
During a 40minutes cruise, you will
be able to discover beautiful
landscape along the river and
observe to discover the typical
Mekong Delta rural life. These
evergreen islands among the Mekong
river still remain unknown to many
people.
Visit at an ancient mandarin house
dating from the 19th century where
the family will welcome you with a
cup a tea.
Back
on board, we will lead to you to
observe the activity of the biggest
rice stock market. Further, other
stops will allow you to see a
traditional bricks and tiles factory
and how locals are using palm leaves
for houses. Cruising 20 minutes
further to Phu An hamlet passing by
Cai be beautiful church, we will
have a visit at some interesting
home factories to see how rice paste
is made, but also rice cookies coco
candies, as well as longan fruits
drying process.Lunch will await you
at Le Longanier, a superb
Indochinese villa located in a lush
tropical garden by the river,
surrounded by fruits orchards.
After a short walk along a beautiful
canal, the excursion will end at
approx. 3.30pm at Ba Bon Bridge
where your own private
transportation vehicle will await
you. Drive back Ho Chi Minh.

airport for early flight to Da Lat
(established as a hill station at
the beginning of the century). Upon

airport and transfer to hotel.
Exploring Dalat's French chalets and
pine forests are more reminiscent of
an alpine village than a town in
Southeast Asia. An afternoon of
sightseeing in Dalat takes in the
art deco former summer residence of
Emperor Bao Dai, the old Dalat
Railway Station, Xuan Huong Lake,
the Central Market and Lam Ty Ni
Pagoda where a Buddhist monk, Vien
Thuc, produces abstract paintings
and poetry.

will transfer to Phan Rang, on the
way you will visit the 13th century
Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched

After Phan Rang, traveling through
vivid green rice fields and salt

the Po Nagar Cham Towers and Long
Son Pagoda with its enormous white
Buddha statue.

proceed to Hoi An town, a major
Asian trading port in the 17th and
18th centuries with a relaxed

over the years. Hoi an has a
distinctive china atmosphere with
low, titled roof houses and narrow
streets. Many of houses were
constructed of rare timbers and
decorated with lacquer panels
engraved with Chinese characters and
pillars. You will have chance to
discover on foot some famous places
in the town.

Tra Kieu, formerly known as
Simhapura or the Lion Citadel, that
once stood as the capital of Champa
between the 4th and 8th centuries.

Hoi An for Hue by road, passing
through Danang where you will have a
short visit the Cham museum, which
holds the finest collection of Cham
artwork in the country. After your
visit, drive over the Pass of Ocean
Clouds before dropping down to the
wonderfully photogenic fishing
village of Lang Co. Reaching Hue,
the former imperial capital of
Vietnam, to visit the ancient
Forbidden City from where the Nguyen
Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945.

to learn about Vietnamese

different dishes prepared during the
demonstration. In the afternoon,
visit the Museum of Ethnology where
traditional houses of ethnic
minority groups from across the
country are displayed.

production can be seen from start to

produced on the loom using

village, where furniture inlaid with
mother of pearl is made. At the end
of the day, stop in Dong Ho
traditional paper village, where 'giay
do' paper is produced and painted.
All the paper is made by hand and
some still in the traditional method
using only natural products. Return
to Hanoi before boarding the night
train to Lao Cai (Sapa,
North-western Vietnam).

DAY 16: LAO CAI - SAPA – HAM RONG

at Lao Cai train station in the
early morning at around 06:00. From
Lao Cai the road winds up the
terraced hillsides to Sapa, a former
French hill resort and home to some
of Vietnam's most diverse ethnic
groups.
On arrival in Sapa, you will be
transferred to your hotel for
breakfast and the chance to freshen
up. A morning walking tour of Sapa
visits the busy market, a light
trekking to discover Ham rong
mountain “ the dragon mountain”
seeing the orchids flowers and enjoy
the breathtaking scenery of mountain
rice terraces. Lunch at local

nestled in the valley below Sapa, we
will meet some of the local minority
people on their way to and from Sapa.
Here we have the opportunity to
share cultural experiences with the
families that live in the area.
Crossing rivers by suspended bridges
you will witness people toiling the
fields in Vietnam's traditional way
before a free afternoon discover
Sapa by yourself. Return to Lao Cai
for the onward journey back to Hanoi
by overnight train.

DAY 18: HANOI - HALONG BAY -

On
arrival at Hanoi train station, you
will be served breakfast before
heading to Halong Bay. Enjoy the
great scenery of the surrounding
farmlands of the Red River Delta
including rice fields, water buffalo
and everyday Vietnamese village
life.
On arrival in Halong, you will board
the wooden junk, a fantastic replica
of a steamer that navigated Halong
Bay's shallow waters a century ago.
Halong Bay covers an area of 1,500
km over which thousands of limestone
islands and grottoes rise from the
clear emerald waters of the Gulf of
Bac Bo. Climbing the steps up to the
top of Titop islet will enable you
to see breathtaking views over the
entire bay. Kayaking is available on
board with payment on pot.
At night, the boat anchors away from
the crowds at the Bay, enabling you
to enjoy the quietness and romance
of the region

DAY 19: HALONG BAY - HANOI

After a night on board, wake up
early and see daylight filtering
through the mist and towering rock
formations, leaving you with a
dream-like memory of your visit to
Halong Bay. Enjoy a breakfast and
continue cruising to Man’s head and
Tortoise island, Luan cave, Bai tu
long and Bai Tho mountain. Disembark
at Halong prier. Lunch at local
